	If you had your own getaway in the High Country, you'd probably want something just like this. Big enough for a good family escape and not too big for one or two couples to feel at home. Come to unwind and be lazy or come to enjoy all the outdoor activities for which the region is renown, from skiing to ballooning. Alpine Country Retreat works for both just fine.

Property Description:
The modern Western Cedar house sits high on a private, half-acre property with an informal, sprawling country garden that offers plenty of shady spots to sit. The ridge slopes away under the house allowing for covered parking and an undercover games area. The substantial deck provides a great extension to the living area and with its height the panorama has a birds-eye aspect about it. The view from the deck and from the lounge area is certainly breathtaking. Cedar features throughout the living area, creating a warm, cosy ambience especially with the wood fire going on a chilly night.

Description of Rooms/Units:

The house has a fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, a wood fire heater, a home theatre and sound system. The main bathroom has a spa.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed, a small television, walk-in robe and ensuite with heated towel rail.
The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and walk-in robe. There is a set of bunks in the third bedroom.
Bedding includes doonas, pillows, lambswool mattress covers and all linen.

Breakfast: Bring your own provisions.

Dining Options: Full kitchen suitable for self-catering. Alternatively, many good restaurants and takeaways can be found in Mansfield, a 10 min drive.

Cancellation Terms: Full refund if the house is re-let. More than 30 days' notice half of deposit refunded. Less than 30 days, no refund.
