Property Description:
Designed by the well known Torquay-based architect, David Seeley, the residential building combines dynamic, cantilevered, architectural forms with large, limestone block walls that work to ground the house to its site. When seen from Harvey Street the house seems inconspicuous and there is little hint that it commands one of the best views of the Victorian Surf Coast. This is not just an ocean view, you can see along the beach, with its foaming waves, the coastal cliffs and Point Addis, as well as the Anglesea River meandering through the hinterland to the seashore. Several decks around the house provide opportunities to sit and read, soak up the sun, dine al fresco, or simply enjoy a snooze.

Internally, hoop pine lined ceilings follow the twisting clerestory roof, providing a subtle yet dynamic element to the interior, and the upper level windows are truly inspiring. The warm autumn tones of wood, stone and earthy coloured furnishings complete the picture, giving the home a timeless and relaxed quality. The living rooms and extravagant master bedroom are perfectly spacious, befitting the scope of the awesome views outside.

The property sits on a sloping site between two street frontages. The Skyline accommodation, at 53B Harvey Street, occupies the entire upper floor, while the Horizon (lower level) accommodation is accessed from 3 Jackson Street. The Skyline offers extravagant luxury for one couple only. Horizon has three bedrooms, similarly stunning ocean views, and high quality appointments butt with limited/compact cooking facilities.

Special Features:
Anglesea Heights is set high on the hill, surrounded by abundant birdlife and the occasional kangaroo. It is ideally positioned five minutes' walk from the Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club and surf beach, making it a popular choice for guests attending weddings and other social functions at the Club.
The Horizon level's large garden has an off street parking capacity that can accommodate a boat, trailer or jet-ski by arrangement.

Description of Rooms/Units:


Skyline - Upper Level (pictured below)
Enter from Harvey Street to the upper level. By the entrance there is undercover parking for two cars. This level includes only one bedroom - a king size master bedroom with full length balcony and shoreline views, a sitting area and an LCD television. The ensuite bathroom is also sensational. It has a luxurious two person spa bath, twin hand basins and a separate open sided shower from which there are ocean views.
The rest of this level is devoted to living area and kitchen, plus a powder room (note: no laundry). The stylish granite kitchen, with glossy black and white finish, and adjacent internal dining area flows out to a large balcony/ external dining area, through folding glass doors. The polished timber floors step down to the large sunken lounge. All the furniture is contemporary in design. A magnificent limestone fireplace dominates the space (not for use as an open fire). The carpeted lounge is opens onto the eastern balcony which extends around to the master bedroom. Entertainment equipment includes another LCD television, DVD and CD players. The kitchen has a complete range of appliances. The Skyline Level on its own is available for no more than one couple at a time. All linen is included and for extended stays the accommodation is serviced weekly.

Horizon - Lower Level (pictured right)
Horizon occupies the lower level of the property and vehicle access is from Jackson Street. Because of the elevated position, the views of the ocean and shoreline from the lower level are still excellent. There are three bedrooms with the bathroom positioned between the queen size bedroom and the double bedroom. The third bedroom is smaller and contains a bunk set suitable for two children or one adult. Each bedroom has built-in robes and access to the balcony. Linen is available as an option and this level has a fully equipped laundry and an extra toilet.
The spacious open plan living/dining area has beautiful spotted gum polished floors, casual country style dining suite and lounge tables, a pair of comfortable couches, a television and a DVD/CD unit. A glass front Jetmaster fire is set into the limestone chimney. The kitchenette is compact but very well equipped with family sized fridge, two burner gas cooktop, SMEG oven, dishwasher, microwave, electric frying pan, café sandwich press, rice cooker and other essentials. A barbecue is located outside on the northern balcony which steps down to the large native garden.

Generally only one Level is leased at any time except at discretion of owner.

Breakfast: Self cater. (Occasional Specials do include a light breakfast for two at a local restaurant.)
Dining Options: Self cater in your kitchen or dine out. There are quality restaurants to suit all palates, and all within walking distance. Try the famous Anglesea Hotel on the hill or the Golf Club where you can watch kangaroos on the green at dusk.

This level has strict leasing conditions; it is for the sole use of one couple i.e. no other visitors are permitted on the premises.
A security bond of $1000 + $100 refundable key charge applies.
A barbecue cleaning fee of $20 applies at Christmas & Easter.

Weekends (Fri-Sun): $220 - $340 per night
Midweek (Mon-Thu): $180 - $260 per night
Weekly: $1800 - $1900 (off peak)
Christmas: $1800 - $2100
Easter: $1200 - $1700 (4 nights)
Long Weekends: $260 - $340 per night (3 night minimum)
Linen/towels are included for one couple bookings. For 3 to 4 person bookings an extra fee of $20 applies or you can opt to bring your own.
A security bond of $1000 + $100 refundable key charge applies.

A return Priority Guest List operates for both apartments.
B&B packages are now available including extra time/gift pack and breakfast at Furios on one morning.
Pamper packages/day planning/picnic hampers and more are available on request.


Minimum Stay: Two nights. (Single nights by special arrangement with surcharge). Longer minimums apply at peak times such as Christmas, Easter and long holiday weekends.
Deposit: 50% for two night bookings. $200 minimum deposit for longer bookings. Christmas/New Year bookings require balance to be paid by Dec 1.
Cancellation Terms: Up to 50% of the total booking may be charged unless the vacancy is refilled by other guests.
