Property Description:
Leaving the main road and traffic noise well behind, the two-acre property is located at the top of Mt Dandenong where the forest wraps around the mountain offering a network of shady walking tracks. From the crest of the property's magnificent 70-year-old English gardens, guests can gaze at the incredible panorama dominated by the not so distant Melbourne city skyline. The broad lawn clearing offers a perfect vantage point to observe the sun setting slowly in the west. Stone paths and steps invite guests to wander through the dazzling spring display of azaleas and rhododendrons.

There are two separate buildings devoted to guest accommodation. The larger building, with its steep roof, houses the collection of romantic suites. The Sunset Suite occupies the top floor with gabled windows and a balcony at the western end with that magic view. The two cosy, romantic Arnica Suites are at ground level with garden views. Each suite is fully self-contained and private, with a traditional style bed (four poster or canopied), a double spa, a comfortable sitting area and a well equipped kitchen/dining area.

'The Barn' is a separate rustic cottage for two, tucked away in a corner of the garden, behind a picket fence. It has a loft bedroom, a spa and lots of old-fashioned Australian country character.

Special Features:
In-room dining can be arranged, with meals delivered by a local restaurant, or gourmet platters, local wines and Australian and imported beers.
By appointment, expert massage therapists can offer relaxing massage treatments in your suite.

Description of Rooms/Units:
All of the suites are appointed with queen size bed, double spa, television, DVD and CD player, kitchens with fridge, microwave oven and hotplates.

The Arnica Suites have ornate ceilings and private cottage gardens. One has a four-poster bed and the other has a romantic white canopy over the bed.

The Sunset Suite is a sophisticated attic-style suite with stunning views, private balcony, spa in living room, leather chesterfield sofa, four-poster bed and air-conditioning.

The Barn (pictured right) is a secluded freestanding cottage. It has a queen size bed in the loft, a balcony and a spacious living room with a spa, polished floors and large windows out to the private garden. Country antiques feature in the kitchen. The cottage also has air-conditioning and a barbecue.

Breakfast: A generous selection of fresh and organic hot and cold breakfast provisions and fruit basket is supplied in each suite.

Dining Options: In-house dining available. Additionally, the fully refurbished SkyHigh Restaurant Mt Dandenong is within easy strolling distance. Alternatively Olinda village has beautiful taverns, restaurants and cafés.

Cancellation Terms: With 21 days notice bookings can be transferred or refunded less a $50 admin fee. Less than 21 days notice - 50% of the booking may be refunded if the vacancy is filled by others. Less than 72 hours notice - full payment charged.
