	Bankside B&B offers exceptional value accommodation in a recently built luxury townhouse. The guest facilities are ideal for a single business traveller or for one to two couples or a family who wish to be handy to the city centre, yet enjoy a quiet location with ample options for outdoor recreation activities and plenty of private space within the house. The location and the facilities offered at Bankside make it a favourite with discerning visitors who are mindful of their budget.

Property Description:
Developed in 2000, Kensington Banks is a new inner city suburb fronting the Maribyrnong River amidst five hectares of parklands with river walks, and nearby tennis courts, golf course and local swimming pool. Quite different to the grand and gracious or the trendy bustling inner Melbourne suburbs to the North, East and South of the city, this little pocket is quiet and secluded.

The contemporary townhouse is designed on three levels and uses lots of open plan living spaces. The bedrooms are located on the middle level. One has an ensuite bathroom and there is a separate bathroom dedicated to the second bedroom. On the top level is a fabulous open plan loft living area with floor to ceiling windows and a balcony with views of parkland, the river and the city skyline. This is one of two lounge rooms for guests' use and features an enormous library and an entertainment unit, plus tea and coffee making facilities with a small fridge. The other lounge room is located on ground level just inside the front entrance. And behind this is the breakfast dining area, the host's kitchen and a Tuscan theme walled courtyard with water feature. Guests have plenty of privacy with the hosts retiring to separate quarters across the courtyard.

Description of Rooms/Units:
The principal guest bedroom is located at the front of the first floor and it has an ensuite bathroom, a queen size bed, a built-in robe and a balcony with views. The second guest bedroom is located on the same level at the rear. It offers a double bed with a soft doona, plus a chest of drawers and a built-in robe. Across the passageway is a full bathroom and a separate toilet for the exclusive use of the second bedroom occupants.

The loft lounge has a television and CD player as well as a huge book library, tea and coffee facilities. The ground floor lounge can also be used by guests.
There is convenient parking nearby.
