Property Description: A brick path leads through the pretty cottage garden to the front verandah of this classic 1930s weatherboard house. The cream paintwork is trimmed with blue and deep red giving the facade a distinctive presence. The lounge room, the first room on the right, retains much of its original character, with walls of two-tone timber panelling capped by a plate rail. The mantelpiece is an extension of the timber detailing and is inset with a mirror edged in classic Deco style. Vintage furniture and decorative objects have been chosen to complete the effect. For modern convenience a large front window has been added to capture greater daylight and garden views, an efficient, glass-fronted wood fire is installed in the fireplace, and the leather lounge suite is deep and comfortable.
At the front of the house, opposite the lounge, is the master bedroom with its own ensuite. There is plenty more to the house with a second bedroom off the dining room and two more bedrooms at the rear of the house. The Art Deco theme is present, in some form, in every room of the house.
