When it comes to contemporary accommodation in the centre of Bright abalina cottages is a standout. It's not just about the luxury of the finish in these four freestanding dwellings, guests find that the extra attention to detail makes the experience an absolute pleasure from the moment they walk in the door. Arrive on a cold day to find heating on... a hot day the air conditioning will be going... and at night the lights will be on. That's an indication of the care behind the operation. Even before guests arrive, they receive a wealth of information on everything of interest to help make the most of their stay in Bright. |

Property Description:
abalina 1 and 2-on-rotary (4˝ STAR AAA Tourism) are two contemporary cottages - the only two on the site. Each is free-standing and private, with a common driveway. They have three bedrooms, with beds to sleep 5 and 6 respectively. The timeless look of the cottages is aided by a classic finish that uses natural colour combinations on the outside for the colorbond roof, timber windows and contemporary weatherboard-style cladding. Light natural colour shades are used throughout the interior. Floor coverings are a combination of carpet for the bedrooms and large floor tiles elsewhere. Neutral kitchen and bathroom cabinetry continues the subtle colour scheme, which brings out the contrast provided by the rich timber elements of the furniture. Both cottages have wood fires.
abalina-on-cobden, which opened in October 2009, is set on its own small town block which happens to back onto the Rotary Drive site. This cottage offers extra sophistication and luxury. As such it is reserved for adult guests. The rooms are more spacious, beautiful stonework features on the exterior and internally around the gas log fire, and the leather furniture is particularly stylish. It has a master bedroom with ensuite and two further bedrooms. The cottage can sleep five, however, it is really well suited to two couples who each want their own ensuite facilities. The main bathroom, featuring a single spa bath, is accessible directly from the second bedroom as well as the hallway. With the hallway door locked it becomes a second ensuite.
Not far away, down another quiet no-through street, abalina-on-thompson is the rear one of two dwellings of masonry construction (the other being occupied by the business owners). Over 18 squares in size, it is the largest of the abalina cottages, with ample facilities for six guests. The large lounge area is carpeted and the tiled dining area has a table big enough to seat eight. The decor and furnishings are similar in style and standard to the cottages on Rotary Drive.
Two cars can park in front of the garage, with another two cars inside the double garage which has internal access to the kitchen.
Every cottage is equipped with a 93cm LCD television/ home theatre system in the lounge, and has a fully enclosed courtyard with barbecue to enjoy sitting outside.
