Dreamers is a popular base for skiing holidays, being only 30km from Falls Creek ski resort, while other times of the year the valley and high plains offer many other leisure activities from the adventurous to more relaxing pursuits. Property Description:
The five-acre riverland property is made up of park-like, landscaped gardens around a beautiful lagoon. The deep, still water mirrors the backdrop of Mt Bogong in all its grandeur. With each season the setting paints a different picture of tranquillity; the magic of the snow covered mountain peaks, the exuberance of spring, warm summer sunshine, and brilliant autumn colours. A foot bridge, jetty and canoes beckon guests to observe the ducks and the trout at close quarters. There is also a resort swimming pool and lawn tennis court for guests to enjoy.

The four original, contemporary Chalets, better suited to couples, are spread discretely around the property. Three of the four overlook the lagoon. While there are some common architectural elements, such as the barrel curved rooves, timber and stonework, each is individually designed inside and out. Lagoon and Snowgums have studio floor plans with the bed in the main living room, adjacent to a cosy, sunken lounge with open fire. The other chalets have bedrooms separate to living rooms. Small lofts offer limited extra accommodation for children or adults depending on the chalet. Each chalet has a double spa.

Perhaps more than anything it is the decor that gives these chalets their different personalities. The creative selection of furniture includes casual contemporary pieces and rustic oriental additions. The unique four-poster bed in Lagoon chalet is made from the limbs of a tree. Colour schemes vary from pleasing pastels, nature's hues, to rich blues and greens.

Built more recently, the four side-by-side Apartments are more like a row of two-storey houses to the extent that they even incorporate a lock up garage. With three bedrooms, each one can sleep up to 7 adults. The design represents the best practices in eco friendly residential architecture. Rammed earth walls provide beautiful visual texture along with their principal thermal mass function. Local construction materials and numerous environmentally sustainable features are seamless parts of these wholly luxurious buildings. On the top storey is the extravagant master bedroom suite with a stunning spa as well as a balcony with fabulous views. The other bedrooms, kitchen/living room and separate lounge room are all downstairs. Elegant contemporary styling pervades the interiors with predominantly earthy colours occasionally enlivened by bold accents here and there. Each apartment has some special unique attraction such as the glass bath in one master suite. Apartment 4 has a sauna and a stainless steel lap pool outside.

Function / Conference Facilities:
The Function Pavilion on the property seats up to 100 guests. It is suitable for weddings, parties and conferences. Outdoor weddings can also be staged on the edge of the lagoon.

Inground swimming pool, lawn tennis court, table tennis, fishing for trout and canoeing on the lagoon.

Description of Rooms/Units:


Chalets
Snow Gums chalet can accommodate one couple in its studio style layout, with the queen bed featured prominently in the living area. The bathroom has a double shower, while the spa is built into a romantic setting on the sheltered balcony. Lagoon chalet is somewhat similar with a queen bed in the living room and a sunken lounge with an open fire, except the spa is in the bathroom and the balcony is cantilevered over the water's edge. The loft can sleep a couple of children if required.
The Glasshouse chalet, named for its expansive windows, has elevated views over the lagoon and valley to Mt Bogong. There are two queen size beds, one in the master bedroom on the main level and the other in a loft bedroom. The bathroom features a large spa set in a bay window with excellent views.
Emu Ridge chalet has a loft bedroom in addition to the master bedroom, however, the spa bathroom is only accessible through the master bedroom. Both Emu Ridge and The Glasshouse have enclosed log fires in the open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area.
All of the chalets have quite functional kitchens, reverse cycle heating and cooling, ceiling fans, televisions, DVD players and stereos.

Apartments
The master bedroom located on the upper floor has commanding views and an opulent atmosphere that includes a unique bath or spa as part of the room, with an ensuite tucked away discreetly. Two further bedrooms downstairs, with king size or single beds as required, share a bathroom and a separate toilet/powder room. French doors open onto private courtyard settings from the bedrooms. A couple of apartments have an extra indoor or outdoor spa or garden onsen.
Sleek stainless steel kitchens are fully equipped to cope with cooking for a full house, and forms an important focus in the casual living/dining space. A completely separate lounge room offers an elegant escape zone for watching the flat screen television and/or the flames flickering in the contemporary gas fireplace.
Additional features include hydronic heating, internet connection, laundry facilities and internal garage access.

Breakfast: Guests can self cater or have breakfast delivered for an extra charge. The options are a Continental breakfast with fresh baked bread and croissants, or, a full breakfast that has both the Continental selection and a cooked breakfast platter to share.
Dining Options: For guests who want to dine out there are plenty of local restaurants in walking distance and within 5 minutes by car there are many great wineries, cafés and bakeries.
Guest BBQ Facilities: Yes. Each apartment and chalet has its own barbecue.

Apartments (sleeping up to 7 persons): from $590 per night or $2900 per week

Off Peak Rates:
Chalets: from $260 per night for a couple or $310 for 3-4 persons
Apartments (sleeping up to 7 persons): from $490 per night or $2500 per week

Minimum Stay: Three nights over long weekends and some holiday periods. Four nights at Easter and five nights over Christmas/New Year. Two nights for all other weekends and holiday periods.
Deposit: One night's tariff for short stays or 25% of total tariff for weekly stays
Cancellation Terms: The deposit is non refundable. With at least 8 week's notice the deposit may be transferred to alternative dates.
Credit Cards Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, Amex. A 2.2% surcharge is added to all credit card payments.
