Property Description: Belair Cottage is a cosy, two-storey Cape Cod style cottage that offers fully self-contained private accommodation for 2 to 4 adults. Romantic dormer windows are a distinctive feature of the high pitched roof line. The main living room incorporates a lounge area with a comfy sofa, a fully functional kitchen and adjacent dining area with doors to the rear verandah. The interior is beautifully presented with elegant timber furniture and rich floral fabrics. Large windows provide plenty of light and elevated views of Daylesford.
The back patio catches the afternoon sun making it a desirable spot for afternoon tea, next to the strawberry patch, among potted roses and gardenias. Lovely gardens, front and back, create an attractive setting for the cottage, which has its own private gateway into the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens.

Upstairs comprises a bedroom with queen size bed, ceiling fan, dresser, television and ample cupboard space, a study/ reading room and a central bathroom with a single spa bath. Another queen bedroom, a second separate shower, vanity unit and toilet are located downstairs. All bed linen, doonas, blankets and towels are provided.
The kitchen has a large fridge, full size stove, microwave and all other essentials. The lounge area is equipped with a television, video and sound system, space heater and ceiling fan. There is also a laundry with a washing machine and dryer. |
