Bergamo is a synthesis of nature's bounty and the skills of the craftsman, the artist and the gardener. The timberwork, the mud brick walls, the internal features, have all been produced to an artisan level that is much more classy than rustic. The wonderful garden cocoons the cottage in foliage and flowers. Every element is intended to add to your pleasure and comfort.

Property Description: The guest accommodation on this five-acre property is nestled in the most delightful garden setting, providing a feeling of cosy, peaceful seclusion. Handcrafted in mud brick and timber, the building is original and unique. It has a picturesque European cottage charm; at the same time there is a stylish sophistication to the finish that is not often associated with mud brick construction. Individually made furniture, genuine artworks, Persian rugs and leadlight windows are some of the artistic touches that enhance the quality of the accommodation.
The two apartments are located at opposite ends of the building, separated by a carport area, so guests have plenty of privacy. The Studio is designed to accommodate one couple in a very spacious loft (over 20sq metres). The soaring ceilings are lined in timber with enormous skylights through which you can stargaze at night. The one large space contains the bed, the fireside lounge area and the kitchenette. There is also an ensuite bathroom and downstairs is a separate spa room.
The Spa Suite is a fully self-contained, two-bedroom apartment that easily caters for two couples. It has one bedroom upstairs overlooking the large garden from treetop level. The other rooms downstairs make a feature of the exposed mud brick walls, which produce a cosy, quiet ambience; deliciously cool in summer while retaining warmth from the fire in winter. An open doorway leads from the lounge room into the kitchen/dining room, where windows wrap around the dining area making the most of the garden vista.

Special Features: The garden has merited inclusion in the Victorian Open Garden Scheme. An abundance of trees, bulbs, perennials, roses and grasses feature in this rambling country garden, complete with orchard. Exuberant colour flushes coincide with autumn and spring. The bird life is also prolific.
