	The Birches offers you a fine selection of accommodation from the very luxurious and very spacious Attic suite, with its wonderful view down the valley to the lake, to the intimate, romantic Wren Cottage nestled in a private corner of the garden with its own gazebo. Whatever your preference, The Birches is the place for an indulgent escape to Daylesford. Relax with a massage and a soak in your own spa. Saunter off to a fantastic dinner nearby and then retire to your private haven at The Birches.

Property Description:
The Birches has succeeded in creating a refined yet casual ambience in each of its quite different suites and cottages. All are very suitable for couples for a romantic, relaxing getaway, although Birch Cottage does have a second bedroom if required. There are spas throughout.

The Attic comprises the top floor of the three storey Birch Manor. It has more of a “penthouse” feel with its great interior space, a generous balcony and fantastic view. Soaring, timber lined ceilings make it a very grand attic and the furnishings complete the very tasteful interior design. The lower ground floor of Birch Manor, known as The Basement, is warm and inviting with a yellow colour theme, a romantic gas log fire, a pretty garden outlook and a truly delightful ambience. Wren Cottage is a cosy hideaway for two, with a slightly more romantic touch to the décor, a private shady verandah with an extended sun deck and separate gazebo. Birch Cottage can accommodate four persons and enjoys views of Lake Daylesford on one side and gardens on the other. This cottage has a special country charm to its interior design and furnishings. The cottages each have their own private garden setting.

Beautiful established gardens are not uncommon in the area, and the property grounds at The Birches contribute to this reputation. A diverse collection of birch trees is complemented with a profusion of mature shrubs, roses, lavender and box hedges.

The Attic features walk in robes and a king size bed. There is reverse cycle air conditioning, gas heating and a kitchen bar equipped with a fridge, and microwave.
The Basement has a king size bed, a gas log fire. The kitchen bar is equipped with a fridge and microwave.
Birch Cottage has a queen size bed and two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large gas stove, fridge and microwave oven.
Wren Cottage has a cosy bed-sitting room with a double bed, wood fire and an electric heater. The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with fridge, electric stove and microwave.
All cottages and suites are supplied with linen, champagne, goodies basket, breakfast starter, and are equipped with spa, television, video, CD player and barbecue.

Breakfast: Starter breakfast provisions can be found in your cottage or suite.

Dining Options: A short walk will take you to Daylesford’s widely acclaimed cafés and restaurants.

Guest BBQ Facilities: Each unit has its own barbecue.
