Property Description:
This remarkable property can be found along the top of Ranch Road above Mt Beauty. The entrance is flanked by high stone walls which enclose the Estate's olive grove, inspired by southern European country scenes. A long private road, lined with Plane trees, winds its way along the ridge of the property. Mt Bogong, Victoria's highest peak, looms large across the valley. The road passes a birch forest surrounding the two European-style chalets and continues on to the Villa and office.

Birches Luxury Spa Chalets is named after the forest of Russian Moss White Birch trees, under planted with thousands of bulbs that herald the spring with colour and fragrance just as the new foliage emerges on the trees.

Hidden amongst the birch trees, the architect designed, self contained Spa Chalets, built for couples, have large, elevated verandahs with double glazed French doors. Inside, the decor is a subtle blend of modern elegance and classic country furniture, with notable original artworks and quality detailing. Both chalets have a double spa with magnificent mountain views.

The Villa is located on the southern side of the Estate amidst beautiful gardens of shade trees, lavender hedges and winding paths. The township of Mt Beauty can be seen in the valley below, dwarfed by the Alps. The solid, Victorian-style homestead replicates a world of European finery, from voluptuous window drapes, antique furniture, a superb collection of original artworks, and classic leather Chesterfields beside an open fire, to the formal dining setting with precious crystal, fine china and silverware.

The grounds of the estate include a cornucopia of productive orchards and livestock. There are grape vines, berries, olive trees and orchards of citrus, apples, cherries, plums and walnuts. The Oaks have been inoculated with Truffle. Tame Fallow deer often graze through the birch forest. Wandering among the groves are alpacas, South Suffolk sheep, geese and poultry. Native birds abound throughout the day, with other wildlife venturing from the native forest in the early morning and evenings. Guests are welcome to wander the Estate and taste any berry, grape, fruit or nut that may be in season.

Special Features:
The Estate distinguishes itself from other fine boutique accommodation in the region by its dedicated 24 hour 'old world' service, its exceptional wine list and silver service dining.

Chalet guests have the option of having meals brought to them to enjoy in the privacy of their chalet.

The sumptuous atmosphere of the Villa's formal dining room is the perfect setting to enjoy the Estate's signature Traditional Silver Service Fine Dining Experience. The seasonal menu, prepared by private chef and served by experienced wait staff, favours game and traditional European dishes. The wine list offers the finest collection of local and international vintages, including individually sourced rare wines, particularly Champagne and Burgundy, notably the magnificent, rare Romanee-Conti and the Krug Clos d'Ambonnay1995. The table service is complemented with antique Austrian and Russian crystal ware, Royal Doulton fine bone china and sterling silver cutlery.
Fresh towels, French soaps and toiletries are also provided daily.

Additional services that can be supplied by appointment include private masseur, beautician, and personal trainer.

AIR TRANSFERS
For those who prefer to arrive by air, please ask about the Lear Jet and helicopter transfer options within Australia.

Function / Conference Facilities:
The Estate can cater for a total of 12 guests, making it ideal for special occasion dinner parties for those who appreciate great wines and traditional, European style cuisine.
