Property Description: The top floor of this two-storey house has been developed as a completely self-contained penthouse apartment with its own private entrance. The fit-out was completed in 2006 and includes a sparkling kitchen and spa bathroom. Apart from carpet in the two bedrooms, the floors are tiled with a large Persian rug in the centre of the lounge area. In fact the lounge area has a bit of an exotic South East Asian theme with Indian and Thai elements, such as wall hangings and cushions, combined with the bright colours of the feature walls and couch. Patio and indoor plants add an extra dimension to the atmosphere. The modern leather lounge furniture is high quality and the ultra modern glass topped dining table suits the fresh style of the kitchen.
There are two good-sized balconies. One of these acts as a covered extension to the living area, accessed through a large sliding glass door. The other is a sunny open balcony off the larger bedroom. Both have panoramic views over the lush garden, surrounding homes and out to the ocean. At night the twinkling lights of San Remo can be seen across the moonlit water.

Description of Rooms/Units: There are two bedrooms suitable for couples. As well as having its own private balcony, the spacious main bedroom has two porthole style windows in the timber lined feature wall. The bed is a queen size latex comfort bed and the room has its own television, VHS and DVD player. The second smaller bedroom also has a queen size bed. Both rooms are carpeted and have built-in robes.
The large bathroom has a deluxe spa bath, a separate shower, a modern vanity and a small leadlight window above the spa. Linen, towels and toiletries are all included.
The open plan living space is equipped with television, VHS, DVD, CD stereo, reverse cycle air conditioner. The room is furnished with a luxurious leather couch, chairs, an ottoman, a full bookshelf and an ultra modern dining setting for up to four. The balcony also has an outdoor table and chairs.
The kitchen is equipped with a full stove & oven, large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, various small appliances including a coffee maker, ample bench space and cupboards. A front-loading washing machine is also incorporated in the kitchen. |
