	Crystal Creek offers the opportunity to relax in comfort and style at a beautiful country property. With great views, fascinating walks and wonderful picnic spots it can be a destination in its own right. In addition to the traditional tourist attractions of the area, the property is next to the Yackandandah Forest providing opportunities for four-wheel driving, mounting biking, horse riding and bushwalking.

Property Description:
Crystal Creek is part of an area with a mid-nineteenth century history of gold mining. Rugged gulleys made by sluice mining still remain, carved into grazing pastures where they provide a natural haven for ferns and wildlife. The land falls away to an extensive river flat, wetlands and the Yackandandah Creek bordered by eucalypts. The area is dotted with huge rocks that can make ideal, secluded picnic spots.

The cedar, miner's-style cottage offers fully self-contained accommodation for up to six. At the rear is a shady landscaped area with barbecue, while the front of the cottage faces views of pasture, valley and State Forest beyond, so the verandah is a popular place to spend time. Polished floors and dado wood panelling are teamed with a little colour on the walls to create a fresh country feel.

Description of Rooms/Units:

There are three separate well-appointed bedrooms, with queen, double and bunk beds respectively. The bathroom has a full-size bath and shower, with a separate toilet.

The cottage has an open plan lounge-dining and kitchen area with wood burner (and ducted heating), air conditioning, a comfortable lounge suite, dining table for six, plus television, video and stereo system.

The well equipped kitchen has a full stove, large fridge and microwave. Cottage facilities also include a laundry with washing machine and dryer, outdoor furniture and barbecue.

Breakfast: Guests receive a breakfast basket with provisions for a self-cooked or continental breakfast according to their preference.

Dining Options: Self-cater in your cottage or dine out in Yackandandah - Star Hotel (Victoria’s Country Bistro of the Year), Sticky Tarts restaurant and the Yackandandah Hotel - or further afield in Beechworth, Albury-Wodonga, and Bright.
