Property Description:
Hosted accommodation doesn't always provide the level of privacy that many visitors would prefer, while self-contained accommodation doesn't usually offer the luxury of sitting down to a cooked breakfast prepared by someone else. Cherryblossom B&B manages to offer the lot without compromising on personal space. The house has been designed for just this kind of flexibility. The owners' personal space occupies one end of the main building with two guest rooms located in the wing at the opposite end, with the dining and lounge room, with its massive picture window, in the middle. Each of the guest rooms has its own entrance, spa ensuite, kitchenette and front window to take in the view. In addition there is a separate building behind and above the main house which contains a studio apartment for guests.

The classical Oriental inspiration can be seen in the lines of the house albeit a modern home built in 2003/2004. The beautiful landscaping includes a goldfish pond and a Japanese garden, all of which is nestled amongst native trees on a gently sloping site. From its elevated position the rooms of the house look out across horse paddocks towards the nearby mountains.

The guest rooms feature exotic Asian design linen and striking ensuites with glossy black tiles, inset with Oriental images. The studio apartment also follows the Oriental theme.

Description of Rooms/Units:
The studio apartment has a front balcony with a commanding view over the rooftop of the main house. Its spacious interior features a king size bed. The ensuite includes a spa with a private courtyard outlook.

One of the guest rooms has a king size bed (pictured below) that can also be reconfigured as twin king singles if required. The other slightly smaller room has a queen size bed. Each of these rooms has an ensuite with a double spa and overhead shower.

Every room has a couch, table and chairs, television, DVD and CD players and a kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and two electric hotplates), reverse cycle air conditioning and wireless internet access. Guests can also use the barbecue on the rear deck if they wish.

Under cover parking is provided for two guest cars and a covered walkway leads to separate entrances to each room. Outdoor settings are provided on the decks at the front and the rear, where guests are unlikely to be disturbed.

Breakfast: Guests can enjoy a special continental breakfast at their convenience in their room, or, sit down to a delicious cooked breakfast served by your hosts in the main dining room, or, they can opt for the tariff without breakfast.

Dining Options: Healesville has a good range of dining options, including the acclaimed Healesville Hotel, and there are many Yarra Valley winery restaurants offering meals on weekends.
