Property Description: This charming two bedroom 1870's miner's cottage has benefited from a thoughtful restoration. The quaint weatherboard and stone building is located on two acres with an old fruit orchard full of figs, apples, pears and cherry plums. The surroundings host abundant bird life and grazing kangaroos can be seen in the adjacent paddocks and among the tall gums. A delightful cottage garden adds colour and interest with roses, nepeta, olives, and herbs. A paved barbecue area is found at the rear where terraced stone walls and old out buildings stand as reminders of times past.
The interior of the cottage can be described as 'designer rustic'. Simple white walls and ceilings with artful use of rustic furniture and objects helps to create an endearingly simple charm.
