Property Description: The setting on an open corner block, gives this King Street address something not necessarily enjoyed by its neighbours. From the large front lawn, or the shade of the front verandah, and from the full length, corner, living room windows you can see Bass Strait at the end of the street 100 metres away. Even the front bedroom captures a slice of the view without sacrificing privacy. Around the lawn in front of the bedroom, a two-sided, high fence screens this area from the main street frontage.
Inside, the eighties brick home has been completely refurbished, from the floor up, giving it a more contemporary style and touches of casual sophistication. The rich tones of the polished floors in the living area give way to soft, quality carpet through the bedrooms. Striking canvases and more delicate framed prints adorn neutral walls. Lounge furniture upholstered in smoky colours, weathered, grey occasional furniture and other designer pieces lift the interior above the ordinary.
The L-shaped lounge and dining area flows through to a well equipped kitchen. In addition to two queen bedrooms, a separate sitting room can be used as a third bedroom.
The as yet undeveloped backyard is fully fenced and private, providing ample space for a game of cricket or the like.

Special Features: The local surf break lies below the cliffs at the end of the street and can be reached on foot quite easily along the Golf Links Road with its magnificent views of the rugged headlands and white caps on one side and the manicured greens of Flinders Golf Course on the other.

Description of Rooms/Units:
Both the main bedroom and the second bedroom have queen size beds, with quality bedding and linen. A third room is normally a sitting room, however, the double sofa bed can sleep another one or two people if needed.
The central bathroom has a spa bath and shower.
The kitchen has a granite bench top, electric oven and cooktop, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and all cooking and dining needs.
The home has a large television and an air conditioning unit in the living area, with ducted heating throughout. The laundry has a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. A brick carport, attached to the house, offers undercover parking for up to two cars. |
