Property Description:
The gorgeous mountain views will take your breath away all year round, though it's even more spectacular when snow blankets the five mountain peaks, one of which is Mt Bogong, Victoria's highest mountain. The B&B apartment offers this brilliant vista from the lounge and dining room and the deck of course. Even the main bedroom captures a slice of the view.
The building is a contemporary use of corrugated steel and timber decks, built on a gently sloping site. The entrance to the accommodation is by sliding doors from the deck. The deck area is exceptionally large, with room for casual chairs and a full size outdoor table setting. The apartment floor plan consists of a main living and dining room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Either bedroom can be closed off to make the setting more intimate.
The natural earthy tones of the slate floor are reflected in the colour scheme and furnishings. Nature is a theme in the decorative wall art. Candles, lamps and plenty of cushions give the living room a comforting, cosy ambience that is also evident in both bedrooms.

Description of Rooms/Units:
Each of the bedrooms has an individual style. One has a traditional romantic flavour with a queen size, white, wrought iron bed. The other is somewhat more contemporary and colourful, but with a romantic sheer canopy over its queen size bed. The latter also has a single bed against one wall. The rooms have column heaters and all the beds have electric blankets and beautiful linen.
The elegant, modern bathroom features a deep bath, separate shower, ample towels, heat lamp, hair dryer and French soaps and toiletries. The toilet is located separately.
The living room has a deep comfortable lounge suite, split system heating and cooling, flat screen television, DVD, video and CD players, plus a supply of movies. The timber dining suite is placed in front of one of the picture windows. The built in kitchenette has an under bench fridge, microwave, 3 burner cooktop, toaster and electric kettle, plus dinnerware, glasses and saucepans.
The apartment also has wireless internet facilities. |
