	Fawcett Country Cottage is somewhere to experience the country without having to go 'rustic'. You have your own self-contained luxury accommodation for you and the kids and the dog, plus fresh farm produce to start your morning. You can also meet and feed the farm animals, take country walks and just sit round enjoying the view. Then again if it's just the two of you, Fawcett Country Cottage, can be a romantic getaway too.

Property Description:
This twelve-acre farmlet packs a lot of country ambience into one package. The guest cottage, with its wrap around verandah, has a prime position overlooking the property's lush pastures and dam as it dips into the Goulburn Valley ringed by a panorama of rolling hills and the distant Black Ranges. The collection of farm animals include a gaggle of snowy white geese, a pair of donkeys (Mandy and Ned), a goat, cows, sheep, chickens, turkeys and dogs of course - all very happy to be fed and pampered by visitors.

Fawcett Cottage is a smart Federation-style two bedroom timber cottage surrounded by pretty landscaped gardens. The interior is full of cheerful country charm, with a sunny kitchen and open living area featuring a heritage style fireplace with a real wood fire. The décor also has a little extra personality with quirky, fun touches. The bathroom has a luxurious double spa, but otherwise continues the Federation design theme in the tiling and pedestal basin.

Special Features:
Farm activities include feeding the chooks and collecting the eggs for breakfast, bottle feeding baby animals, milking Daisy, walking the dogs, feeding the cows, donkeys and geese by the dam.
Bring your own birdseed and you'll also be popular with the abundant local King Parrots and Rosellas.
Kids have plenty more to do such as bike riding and billy carts on the farm slopes.

Description of Rooms/Units:

One bedroom has a queen size bed and a single bed. This room has a door to the verandah. The second bedroom has one double and two single beds and a window to the front verandah and the main view. The living area has two double sofa beds if needed to sleep extra guests and a small travelling cot can be provided.

The large kitchen has a full stove, conventional oven and microwave and a small fridge. Other facilities include television, DVD player, air conditioner, wood fire and additional heating, laundry with washing machine and tub.

Breakfast: Breakfast provisions include farm eggs, homemade bread, milk, cereal, and seasonal produce from the garden.

Dining Options: Self cater in your cottage or travel 3km to Alexandra for hotel and restaurant meals or takeaway.

14 days notice or more - the deposit will be refunded less a $50 booking fee.
Less than 14 days notice - deposit retained.
