Fountain Terrace combines four great qualities; atmosphere, comfort, a valued location and great service. Guests can enjoy the richness and fine character of a large Victorian residence incorporating the best of modern facilities… a quiet tree lined location yet just minutes to all of the excitement St Kilda has to offer... and perhaps most important, the style of a boutique hotel merged with the warmth and friendliness of a traditional Bed and Breakfast. |

Property Description: Built in 1880, Fountain Terrace is a fine example of classic Victorian architecture that has been restored to its original grandeur. The interior is distinguished by very high ceilings, a wide gracious staircase and marbled pillars all lit by a crystal chandelier. Solid brick walls throughout the property ensure noise is kept to an absolute minimum. Large sash windows allow plenty of natural light inside.
The elegant drawing room is for guests to enjoy, where there is an upright grand piano waiting to be played by the musically talented. Here also breakfast is served in the morning and in the evening guests can relax before taking a short walk to any one of a myriad of nearby restaurants.
