	A place to admire the rolling hills with green pastures and grazing cows. A place to Relax, Revive and Rejuvenate. A place to seek peace and serenity. A special place to share quality times with your best friends and family.

Property Description:
The property covers 25 acres of this picturesque valley. The four self contained cottages are positioned on a hillside around a circular drive. A 140 year-old oak tree stands in the centre, casting its broad canopy over a shady garden bench. Below the cottages is a large lake with a simple jetty, as well as a more substantial gazebo on a small island with foot bridge access. You can also easily walk to the Jamieson River's edge.
Each of the cottages has views of the valley with mountains filling the skyline. A large covered deck, with a gas barbecue, is a feature of the cottages which are built in a combination of brick and timber. The interiors offer two bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and living area with a wood fire and high soaring ceilings. The homely, country-style furniture is simple and comfortable.

Special Features:
Outdoor activities are a major attraction for visitors to the High Country such as snow sports, fishing, off road adventure, horse riding and ballooning. Jamieson Valley Retreat also has a number of activities that can be enjoyed without leaving the property. These include fishing and yabbying, lake and river swimming, bird watching, river bank walks and tennis. Bring your own equipment for canoeing, landscape painting and photography.
The communal recreation areas feature a wood barbecue by the lake and a gas barbecue in the Rivershade by the river's edge. Bonfires are popular events in the cold months.

Description of Rooms/Units:
The bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds, twin beds or bunk beds. Electric blankets and all linen is supplied.
The bathroom facilities feature showers.
The living area is equipped with air conditioning, wood heater, television, DVD and CD players, lounge seating and a dining table and chairs.
The kitchen has a breakfast bench with stools. Appliances include fridge, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, electric kettle. Cookware, glasses, crockery and cutlery are all provided.
The deck has a barbecue plus outdoor table and chairs.
A communal laundry is available to guests.

Breakfast: Bring your own provisions. If requested a Continental breakfast can be provided.

Dining Options: The cottages are fully equipped for cooking or else there are 2 local pubs that serve lunch and dinner, and a café open Fri to Sun, 9am to 4pm.

Guest BBQ Facilities: One for each cottage, plus two communal area barbecues.

Minimum Stay: Two nights on normal weekends.

Deposit: 50% required to secure booking

Cancellation Terms: With at least 14 days' notice the deposit will be refunded less 10%, or, the total may be transferred to another date. Less than 14 days' notice - the deposit may be forfeited.
