	Colin and Desley welcome you to their tranquil home, Linsley House, on the banks of the Murray River. Relax and enjoy the outstanding garden and river views from your own bedroom or from one of several garden seats, or stroll across the garden to the river's edge. Linsley House offers a peaceful retreat after a day of discovering the many attractions of the Sunraysia region, visiting the wineries, riding a Murray River paddlesteamer, or taking to the skies in a Hot Air Balloon.

Property Description:
The driveway is flanked by citrus groves at the end of which is a modern, white, brick home, one of the first of its time to be built facing the river rather than the highway. A stone's throw from the front verandah is the majestic Murray River. Beautifully manicured garden and lush sweeping lawns are broken up by island beds, an impressive fountain and old-fashioned ornamental street lamps. This panorama of garden, the wide glassy river and riverbank landscape beyond is the view from the two queen bedrooms. Both rooms have sliding glass doors to the verandah, which is enclosed with insect proof screens.

The home is very comfortably furnished with traditional style furniture and the layout is such that the hosts' and the guests' quarters are quite separate. Guests have their own 9m x 8m living space that combines sunroom, lounge, dining area and mini kitchen facility. Here is where your hosts serve a fully cooked breakfast each morning. The room has a view of the garden and is equipped with a wood heater, air-conditioning, television, fridge and microwave.

Description of Rooms/Units:

There are two guest bedrooms with queen size beds, ceiling fans and heating. These rooms face the sweeping gardens and the Murray River and have sliding glass doors to the verandah. One room has an ensuite with a shower. The other has a private bathroom, with a bath and shower, directly across the hall.

A third bedroom with twin beds is also available for extra persons in the same party of guests.

The guest lounge area at the other end of the house is reached via the full length verandah. The verandah itself offers places to sit and relax or there are tables and chairs dotted around the lawn down to the edge of the river.

Breakfast: Included is a full English breakfast as well as fresh fruit, homemade bread and preserves. A signature accompaniment is the freshly picked and squeezed orange juice.

Dining Options: Nearby Trentham Estate Winery is open for lunch. Enjoy evening meals at Gol Gol Hotel or drive into Mildura for choices from world-class restaurants to casual eateries.
