	The Loft in the Mill offers crackling log fires, luxurious double spas and old-world ambience in your own private and uniquely designed suite. Choose from a range of rooms, all with ensuites, kitchenettes and private entrances, to suit different requirements and budgets. As well as beautiful luxury suites for couples, families and groups can also be accommodated - the Loft apartment or the entire Carriage House are both ideal for self catering with full kitchens. The Loft in the Mill is perfectly located opposite Olinda Village, in walking distance to boutique shops, lovely gardens, galleries and tearooms. AAA Tourism 4½ STAR rating and winner of various awards including a Victorian Tourism Award for Best Hosted Accommodation Venue.

Property Description:
The Loft in the Mill captures a real English village charm. The main building, designed to look like an authentic 19th century bluestone mill, is particularly unique in the region. Inside, its marvellous guest suites and rooms also recall great traditions with lace draped four-poster beds, leadlight windows, whitewashed stone walls, exposed beams and log fires. Baronial themes through to simple English country styles blend well with the overall setting. Some of the rooms enjoy private courtyards featuring rose cover stonework.

Located next to the Mill is the Carriage House, a bluestone replica 19th century Stage Coach Stop. Resplendent in Tudor character, its Attic Suite has a charming Juliet balcony, while the house has a lounge with an open fire, formal dining room, glassed conservatory, spa bathroom and full kitchen.

Every room in these buildings has great personality, and there is certainly nothing dated about the quality of the appointments of this beautiful boutique accommodation.

Description of Rooms/Units:

Premium Suites
The elegant Hathaway Suite has a sunken bedroom with a four-poster bed. The large lounge has an open fireplace and the fire can be watched from the luxurious double spa. Another special feature of the suite is the private balcony which affords views of the setting sun.
The King Arthur Room has a distinctive medieval atmosphere with its with its slate floor and dark exposed beams. A king size bed is matched with a 4-posted king size spa at the foot of it, a crackling log fire and floor heating. French doors open to your private courtyard positioned to take in the sunset.
The Carriage House is a 3-bedroom, two storey, 30 square bluestone house. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite. The house has a central bathroom with a luxurious double spa, an open plan lounge and formal dining areas with an open log fire, heated floors and glassed conservatory suitable for conferencing/entertainment, a full kitchen, and laundry. The whole house can sleep up to 10 people (using single folding beds available for the extra four persons) .

Deluxe Spa Suites
The very popular Herb Garden Room has French doors to a private courtyard garden, oriented to the sunset. The room features a queen size canopy bed with a log fire opposite the bed, and a double spa.
The Attic Suite is tucked away at the rear of the Carriage House. At the foot of the canopied queen size bed, the log fire faces the lounge where you'll find a record player with 60 albums for a nostalgic treat. The double spa can be found in the ensuite. Across from the Juliet balcony entry is an intimate garden deck surrounded by vegetation.
The Loft Suite covers the entire top floor of the Mill. The apartment has a large lounge with a gas pot belly fire and an open plan full size kitchen, with stone bench tops and a dishwasher. The separate master bedroom has a queen size four-poster bed. The bathroom has a corner double spa. At the top of a grand staircase is the loft bedroom which has two king single beds which can be converted into one king size bed if required. A sofa queen bed can be made up in the lounge to sleep an extra two guests, bringing the total capacity to six guests.

Standard Suites (4½ star luxury for a smaller budget)
The Calico Suite is a bright cosy suite for 2 to 4 people, with a double spa, separate lounge and kitchenette. The second queen size bed folds out from a divan in the lounge. The suite has its own private sunny courtyard and entrance.
The Tudor Room, with its heavy exposed beams and whitewashed walls, has a four-poster bed, log fire, ensuite and kitchenette. Opposite the entrance is a garden deck with an outdoor setting for two, surrounded by evergreen trees and foliage.
The Victorian Room is a cosy room with lace draped four- poster bed, ensuite, kitchenette and dining setting. The Victorian is an inexpensive alternative to the more lavishly appointed rooms.

Breakfast: All tariffs include vouchers for a light continental breakfast and cooked breakfast (to the value of $15 per head) redeemable at 'Immerse at Olinda' restaurant in the Village opposite.

Dining Options: The Olinda area offers a choice of dining options from silver service to smorgasbord and casual cafés. Walking distance to 5, and a total of 16 within 2km, with a stretch limo service to/from Skyhigh Restaurant available nightly (except Sat).
