The dream of having your very own luxury mountain retreat is here. At Lotus Lodges you can expect an absolutely private, secluded, architecturally designed cottage of your very own. Romance, style and function have been captured in the design and craftsmanship.

Couples and families alike are warmly invited to experience the Lotus Lodges Treehouse escape, with everything the Dandenong Ranges has to offer on your doorstep.

Property Description:
From its perch in the temperate rainforest setting on the edge of Mt Dandenong, this well designed dwelling has striking views, through floor to ceiling windows, of the Melbourne city skyline, distant mountain ranges and the immediate forest surrounds. One thing not included in the view is neighbours, unless you count the local wallabies, echidnas and prolific local birdlife. A large balcony wraps around the house where you can feel even more connected to the invigorating natural world.

The timber home has many period-style characteristics combined with modern elements. Intricate ceilings, polished timber dado panelling and picture rails throughout, attest to the attention that has been spent on the interior finish. Deep, handsome paint colours have been used to define each room.

The house features a leadlight front door opening to a marble floored entry way. The centrepiece of the living room is a beautiful, marble open fireplace, with a timber mantle and built-in cupboards either side to match the dado panels on the walls. A large custom-made leather sofa suite with matching ottoman, created by Chesterfield Gallery, adds elegance and comfort to the fine ambience of the room.

The kitchen and dining area has a more contemporary open style with lots of glass, polished floors and sleek kitchen appointments. The large dining table is a unique design of solid wood and glass, with room enough for an elegant dinner party or family board games. The master bedroom features a large bay window with a beautiful timber desk built-in. The main bathroom has funky architecture, black & white floor tiles, and a large old fashioned claw foot bath.

Special Features:
Wallabies scamper through the forest below and birds sing and bustle about from dawn to dusk. Colourful rosellas will even eat out of your hand.
