Property Setting: The property comprises eight acres on the edge of the National Park under the magnificent rock outcrops of the Mount Difficult Range. With big picture windows and no fences to separate the forest, the impression is one of being very much a part of a great natural landscape.

Property Description:
Marwood has achieved a beautiful harmony between the Australian bush and a more formal Mediterranean architecture. The Villas have been built using West Australian limestone, with a natural honey colour, which fits perfectly in the surroundings. Olive and citrus trees enhance the mediterranean character, while the natural forest environment merges into the property unhindered by fences.
Equally special materials and finishes have been used in the interiors. Floors are laid with hand made terra-cotta tiles, from the Barossa Valley, inset with slate. The forged iron dining furniture and bed head were crafted by an artisan in Mornington. Pictures and exotic artefacts adorn the walls. The overall sense is of space and style.

Special Features:
Each Villa has a kitchen well fitted for gourmet self-catering. For guests whose dining preferences may vary, even from day to day, Marwood has its own exclusive, bar and restaurant, where guests can enjoy a romantic dinner or lunch. There is also a choice for breakfast – between provisions supplied to your Villa, or a fully prepared breakfast served in the Marwood dining room.

Description of Rooms/Units:
Villas
Built exclusively for couples, these private, self-contained villas have every convenience and more. The king-size bed sits next to a double, dual action, colonnaded spa bath. The bathroom is black, white and chrome with slate floors and polished granite. A double shower invites, and the double vanity faces a huge picture window looking into the forest. In the living area a big, comfortable sofa sits in front of the open fireplace and you have a television, video, and stereo system.
The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials plus oven, grill, electric wok, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave, coffee maker (even coffee beans and an electric grinder) and electric barbecue for outdoor use.
Water Pavilions
Two newly completed king-sized Pavilions offer twelve squares of split-level luxury living. A glass walled shower room and a Cleopatra spa open onto a totally private water-featured courtyard. Glass steps lead up to the bedroom, bridging a pebble-lined stream that runs around the tiled lounge. Controls are provided for the internal water feature although the sight and sounds create a uniquely soothing ambience.

Breakfast: Included in the tariff is a lavish fully cooked breakfast in the restaurant, or a breakfast basket delivered to the Villa.

Dining Options: Self-cater or dine at Marwood’s own restaurant by arrangement.
