Property Description: Situated on a one acre property, the picturesque timber cottage has the outline of a simple country church while the interior is designed on two levels. Practically every window frames a beautiful view of the Australian bush of Doctor's Gully and the Hepburn hillside.
The cottage was built in the late 1990s and the original owner appears to have enjoyed the architecture of the seventies. The vaulted, timber lined, cathedral ceiling is an architectural feature that first became popular in domestic building at the time when the Rolling Stones commanded the hit parade. For even more of the seventies mood, you'll find a turntable/record player with a selection of nostalgic LPs.
The separate bedroom, bathroom and open plan living room, complete with wood fire, take up the ground level. The living area features polished floors and elegant, understated décor with white walls and casual rugs. French doors open onto a large, elevated, timber deck overlooking the peaceful vista of nature.
The real highlight at Mojo is found up the plushly carpeted stairs that lead to a mezzanine level beneath the vaulted ceiling. In this special sanctuary is a luxurious oval spa for two, set in a large raised platform, under a dormer-style window. A huge L-shaped lounge suite and a widescreen television with DVD player also occupy the mezzanine. For supreme convenience the television swivels so it can be watched just as easily from the spa.
