	While the buzz of Daylesford is barely a few minutes drive, here at Musk Creek Hollow is another world of peace and solitude. A stroll through the garden reveals a myriad of wonderful plants and a babbling creek that flows all year round. An oversized garden chair is a teasured spot for relaxing with a book, accompanied by foraging birds. Even from inside the cottage, by the warmth of the wood fire with a favourite CD playing, the garden still envelops you with its tranquil moods. Enjoy a body massage in Daylesford, but experience a massage of the soul at Musk Creek Hollow.

Property Description:
This property captures a wonderful rustic Japanese aura. The long low building sits like a floating platform amidst the naturalistic landscape garden. The structure's weathered, timber walls blend with the surrounds. The main expanse of the building, except for the glass walls on either side, has the open quality of a breezeway. This is the living space, barely separated from the babbling creek setting and the Japanese style sculpted garden. Silver birches, hydrangeas and iris are just a few of the feature plantings. Beyond the creek, cows graze on Mohawk Hill.

The cottage interior also has a naturally simple style. Smooth white wall and ceiling surfaces compliment elements of wood. Carpet provides a quiet, soft texture underfoot. The focal point of the lounge area is a genuine, cast iron, wood burner. Around the freestanding fire are big couches, of a distinctly English country comfort and character.

Description of Rooms/Units:

The spacious bedroom has a queen size bed, that faces a large picture window into a private courtyard garden. Television and DVDs can be watched from bed, propped up by feather and down pillows. Beautiful Egyptian cotton linen and soft fluffy towels add further luxury. There is also a walk in robe and the bathroom is conveniently close by.

In addition to the wood fire the living area also has an electric wall heater. The CD player is wired to ceiling speakers to incorporate music into the environment whenever you wish. Behind the dining area is a full kitchen equipped with a cooktop and oven, a medium size fridge and a microwave.

Breakfast: The kitchen is stocked with a range of breakfast provisions including free range eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, as well as unlimited plunger coffee and tea.

Dining Options: The cottage has a full kitchen suitable for self-catering holidays, or dine out in Daylesford at any one of the many excellent restaurants and cafés.
