	Oakdene can be found in the heartland of the Bellarine Peninsula, within easy reach of the seaside villages of Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads and Queenscliff. Amongst the vines and countryside vistas is a restaurant that draws patrons from far and wide to enjoy Oakdene's fine food and creative ambience. The ideal way to take advantage of the complete Oakdene experience is to stay in one of the three very individual guest rooms.

Property Description:
Oakdene is a 90 hectare farm property with 8 hectares of vines. Towering trees line the drive to the homestead which was built in the early 20th century. In 2003 the homestead and grounds underwent extensive renovations to develop an integrated restaurant, gallery, garden zones and accommodation. Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant has since become a popular spot to visit and dine on the Peninsula.

A private collection of paintings, glassware and other objets d'art adorn the interior. Frequent changes to the collections ensure a fresh experience on subsequent visits. The gardens also feature unique sculptures and intriguing antique collectibles.

Above the restaurant are three guest accommodation rooms, each one completely different to the others. All are spacious and well appointed (further details below). The Water room overlooks a majestic, lemon scented gum that dominates the restaurant garden, where local musicians play on Sundays during the warmer months of the year.

Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant is acknowledged as the Bellarine Peninsula's best dining experience in the modern Australian style of cuisine. Lunch, dinner and refreshments are available in the Garden, on the Terrace or inside the Restaurant. The restaurant is open 7 days a week during the summer, and Wednesday to Sunday afternoon the rest of the year.
Oakdene has two private dining rooms, the Chocolate Room (pictured right) suitable for up to 19 guests and the Cloud Room for up to 9 diners. Mrs Hockings Bar, with its open fire place is open in the eveneings and on winter weekends.

Oakdene is available for functions, weddings, and conferences 7 days a week. Facilities include audio video equipment.

Description of Rooms/Units:

Every room at Oakdene has a unique personality defined by distinctively different colours and design styles, typically inspired by the artworks displayed in each room.

The Water Room has a light blue colour scheme, with large windows overlooking the garden restaurant. The ensuite has been imaginatively designed using an iconic Australian corrugated iron water tank.

Marilyn's Room is painted in striking shades of deep pink and silver. The open plan ensuite is part of the room and features a glass shower. This room overlooks the the succulent garden, agapanthus and pine tree.

The Attic Room favours natural earthy colours. It faces the front driveway and overlooks the extensive front garden.

All the rooms have reverse cycle air-conditioning, television, clock radio, fridge, toaster, coffee and tea making facilities.

Breakfast: The rooms are stocked with Continental breakfast provisions, plus cereals and fresh fruit.

Dining Options: Dining at Oakdene Vineyards Restaurant is highly recommended - open 7 days during Summer peak season, and all year from Wednesday to Sunday afternoon.
