Property Description:
Rayville comprises ten newly-built luxury units. Stylish beach colours and a nautical theme create a distinctive holiday ambience in these high quality units. The attractive painted timber units offer a variety of layouts. Three units have living quarters & decks upstairs with views, three have the main facilities at ground level with bedrooms upstairs and three have living and main bedroom downstairs and a second loft bedroom upstairs. Six of the units sleep five. Three sleep four, and the tenth unit offers three bedrooms.

History of the name Rayville:
The City of Rayville was an American ship that went down off the coast of Cape Otway in 1940 after hitting a mine laid by a German raider called Pinguin. Local fishermen from Apollo Bay went to the rescue of the crew of this destroyed ship.

The units built by owner, Ross Stephens, have been named in honour of these men who risked their own lives to save others. Each of the ten units is named after one of these fishermen. Ross' father was among those who travelled in their own small vessels to help the rescue effort.

Description of Rooms/Units:

The facilities include wood fires (plus electric heaters) and double spa baths, queen size beds with electric blankets and doonas, full kitchens with fridge, microwave oven, electric stove and dishwasher. Also included are television, video and stereo sound system, with cots and high chairs available by arrangement.

Each unit has its own carport and outdoor entertaining area. Laundry facilities are available and quality linen and towels are supplied.

Breakfast: Self-catering

Dining Options: Each unit has full kitchen facilities for self-catering. Apollo Bay and nearby Beacon Point offer a choice of cafes, restaurants and pub.

Guest BBQ Facilities: There is a communal barbecue and rotunda area
