Wind your way down the lane to your private country getaway, step onto your verandah, taking in the picturesque rural views, prepare to unwind and relax… then be amazed when you walk through the front door of your cottage to all that awaits you!

Ripplebrook Cottages are positively romantic and luxurious. Your hardest decision will be whether to remain hidden away in your luxury retreat or take a leisurely drive in the country to experience all on offer in Gippsland's famous Gourmet Country.

Property Description:
These secluded cottages have been built on a 40-acre farm, "Jindy Park", where the rich pasture is dotted with contented cattle and horses and the rolling hills host scatterings of graceful gum trees. The view stretches beyond the valley landscape to the not too distant Dandenong Ranges and as far as the alps of Baw Baw National Park in the northeast.

There are two neat cottages sited well away from the main road in a peaceful setting, reached via the lane that winds its way through the centre of the property. Landscaped pockets along the lane feature native plants and quaint farm implements.

Both cottages are constructed in timber, with colorbond roofs and large verandahs. Inside they have polished timber floors, timber ceilings and are of the studio style open plan design. But the similarity stops there.

The Miners cottage has a timber ceiling with exposed beams, a timber kitchen with stone bench top and a hardwood floor sourced from Gippsland. It is decorated and furnished in warm tones of green and rust to create a serene, cosy atmosphere.

Leena Cottage has a timber lined cathedral ceiling with a wooden dormer window (containing the clue as to how this cottage was named) and golden baltic pine floor boards. The décor here favours a bold combination of deep reds and creams. Dominating the room is an opulent king size four-poster bed draped in organza and subtle fairy lights. The spa also occupies a prominent position in the room.

Description of Rooms/Units:

Leena Cottage (exterior pictured right, interior pictured below) has a more modern country style interior. Its location on top of a ridge gives it panoramic views of the entire valley and distant mountains.

The Miners (interior pictured above and right) is located at the end of the lane, in sheltered seclusion, nestled into the side of a hill and surrounded by scattered gum trees. Inside and out offers a cosy feeling with a more rustic interior design featuring a country style bed. There are 180-degree views from the spa of the rolling countryside.

Both studio cottages are appointed with a king size bed, double spa, gas log fire, flat screen LCD television, DVD and CD players and reverse cycle air conditioning. The lounge sofa can be converted into a double bed for extra guests if needed. The ensuite features a double shower. The kitchen is equipped with a small fridge, compact dishwasher, microwave, breadmaker and full size stove with oven. Laundry facilities include washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.
