Rivers Run is another attractively presented property from River Red Gum Cottages. Relaxing in the total privacy of a self-contained property, in such a tranquil bush setting and so close to the Murray River (500 metres), is a pretty unbeatable way to enjoy a stay in Echuca. While away a few hours, or days, on the front deck overlooking the forest or retreat indoors after a little sightseeing activity. River Red Gum Cottages suit families or couples visiting Echuca.

Property Description:
A dominant feature of this modern timber cottage is the large covered deck at the front, built to take advantage of the natural bush surroundings provided by the Banyula State Forest opposite. The odd native tree around the cottage also provides dappled shade, continuing the bush atmosphere. The rear yard has a fenced area and the front deck is fenced making the property reasonably suitable for small children and pets.

The interior décor has the 'River Red Gum Cottages' locally flavoured signature, with beautiful handcrafted red gum furniture, photos of the region and an altogether elegant, understated style. The sunroom pays special tribute to indigenous Australians with a large collection of aboriginal decorative artwork and implements.

Year round comfort is well considered with evaporative air conditioning, ceiling fans, a gas potbelly heater, a west facing sunroom to catch winter sun and the shaded deck off the living area to be protected from the summer sun.

Special Features:
Bush walks and bike tracks pass the front gate. The Murray River is a 10 minute walk via the Southern Cross Creek route or 5 minutes along a residential street. A 15 minute walk takes you to the heart of Echuca.
