Property Description: Nestled into 68 acres of bush, on the spectacular tip of Cape Otway, is this modern two storey house. The uninterrupted ocean view from the house includes Point Franklin to the heritage listed Cape Otway Lightstation and surrounding bushland in a 180 degree panorama. The house is designed so that the main living areas, the indoor pool room and all five bedrooms have ocean views.
On the upper level, the lounge room, the dining room and the kitchen and breakfast area are interconnected with sliding doors that can be closed if desired. The lounge has a bay window for the views and a cosy wood fire. The dining room can seat twelve at the long formal dining table and the room opens onto the balcony which continues past the glassed in breakfast area which is part of the kitchen. A second wood heater is located in the breakfast area. The master bedroom with ensuite is located on the other side of the house with its own ocean views, while the main bathroom and three bedrooms are at the lounge end of the house.
The ground floor has a large rumpus/ sitting room with several couches, a large bedroom with an ensuite, and the laundry.
The indoor pool occupies an intermediate level with stairs up to the kitchen or down to the rumpus room. The raised circular spa makes the room as popular with adults as the pool is with children. Outside is a barbecue and outdoor dining furniture.
The décor throughout the house is casual and unpretentious, with quality furniture a feature such as leather lounge suites and king size beds.

Special Features: There are 68 acres of bush to explore, plus National Park and secluded beaches nearby. The famous Light House is also within walking distance.

Description of Rooms/Units:
There are five bedrooms in all. The upstairs master bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite. A second and third bedroom have king size beds, and a fourth has two single beds. A family bathroom services these bedrooms. Downstairs is the fifth bedroom with a king size bed and two singles, serviced by an ensuite.
The lounge is furnished with two leather lounge suites and equipped with a wood heater, air conditioner, plasma television, DVD, video and CD player.
The open plan kitchen has two large fridges, an upright electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, a freestanding chopping block, ample bench space, a full range of cookware, cutlery, crockery and glassware. There is also a laundry with washing machine and ironing facilities. All linen and towels are included. |

Tariff: Weekends $2400 for two nights and $600 for a third night.
Weekly (7 nights) $3800 for a standard season week, or, $6000 during the first three weeks of the summer holiday season and $4800 from then to the end of January as well as Easter. |
