Property Description: The Stables is a two-storey attic style timber building with the charm of a traditional English country cottage. The open plan, ground floor living room features exposed beams, a stone fireplace, and timber shelves and bench tops. The furniture is mostly antique such as the kitchen table and sideboard. Lounge furniture includes a large sofa with cushions and a club style suite. A Persian and a Flokati rug adorn the polished timber floors. The fireplace can be used as either a slow combustion wood burner or an open fire when the doors are folded back. Double doors from the living room lead out to a paved terrace.
Even though it's part of the open plan layout, the kitchen has a real country character with wooden cupboards and shelves.
There are two small stained glass windows in the living room and a larger one of a blue wren on the landing of the stairs that lead up to the first floor bedrooms and bathroom. The interior colour scheme uses attractive combinations of blues, soft yellows and cream.
