	This secret spot on the Bellarine Peninsula is central to absolutely everything on the peninsula. 20 minutes from Queenscliff, 20 minutes from Geelong and 20 minutes from Barwon Heads, yet Toorang Lakeside Retreat has the tranquillity of somewhere far more remote and undiscovered. Space and comfort inside are matched by calm water views stretching all the way to the horizon.

Property Description:
This stylish interpretation of traditional barn/stables architecture, with a prime lakeside position, provides unique self-contained accommodation. One ensuite bedroom occupies the lake end of the barn at ground level and the main living area, along with another two ensuite bedrooms, takes up the entire loft area. The walls and pitched ceiling are finished in attractive timber lining. Dormer windows along each side add light and interest to the space.

The huge living area includes a kitchenette, a dining area, a small writing desk, a sitting area with rocking chair opposite a full lounge setting around the television. Glass doors open onto the elevated deck where a large gas barbecue and outdoor table setting provide a spectacular position for enjoying the tidal waters. The lake is habitat for black swans, pelicans and other water birds.

The Studio Apartment
Tucked away at one end of the owners' residence is a quiet studio apartment suitable for two people who might prefer its cosy atmosphere. The main room is hardly small though, with more than enough room for a king size bed, a large couch and chairs in front of the open fire, dining table and chairs, a desk and a well stocked bookshelf. The apartment includes a full kitchen, ensuite bathroom of course, and a private courtyard with lake views and a barbecue. The interior is tastefully decorated with prints, elegant ornaments and homely touches.

Description of Rooms/Units:

The Barn Apartment (pictured below)
There are three bedrooms in all, one has a king size bed, one has twin single beds and the third has a queen size bed. Each has a private ensuite with shower, vanity and toilet. All beds have crisp sheets and duvets, and there are luxurious towels and hair dryers in each ensuite.

The kitchenette is equipped with a double hot plate, microwave oven and fridge.

Furniture groupings and plenty of table lamps create cosy corners within the open plan space.

The loft is equipped with television, DVD and CD players, as well as binoculars for bird watching.

Features of the apartment include king size bed, spacious sitting area, open fire, television, reverse cycle heating & cooling, ensuite with shower, fully equipped kitchen, private courtyard and barbecue.

Breakfast: Full breakfast provisions are supplied for each day.

Dining Options: Self cater. Alternatively, the local Pizzeria is a favourite of guests and there is a great variety of restaurants within a 20 minute radius.
