Property Description:
Willowbank at Taggerty is a sprawling property of lovely gardens full of roses, rhododendrons and ancient willows. A stroll across the lawns takes you to a sparkling mountain river tumbling past willows and manna gums.

The original timber cottage (c.1903) has been transformed into three beautiful suites each with their own entrance and French doors leading to private verandahs overlooking the picturesque gardens. Two king suites and one queen suite offer privacy for individual couples, or they can also be ideal for up to three couples holidaying together. The King Suites each have their own in-suite dining and lounge settings, while there is also a central lounge-dining room where guests can gather beside the open fire or around the large dining table.

All of the rooms at Willowbank are decorated with subdued elegance, soft colour schemes and feature a collection of original landscape paintings of the region, adding another dimension to the already refined atmosphere.

The licensed restaurant across the garden, offers an intimate setting in which to enjoy fireside dining amongst even more of your hostess, Noel Stevenson's, watercolour paintings.

Willowbank Cottage Suite has a separate queen bedroom with ensuite, kitchen, laundry and lounge/ dining room with combustion wood fire. Also central heating, split system air conditioning, television and sound system.

Willow and Maple Suites are very spacious suites with king size bed, sitting area, large ensuite with bath, verandah, television, sound system, central heating, split system air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and small fridge.

Breakfast: The tariff includes a range of breakfast provisions in the fridge of your suite as well as a cooked breakfast from the menu, served to your suite.

Dining Options: A la Carte meals are available in the fully licensed Lanterns Restaurant and Grill Bar, previously included in The Age Good Food Guide, now exclusively for in house guests.
